Commbi believes looking good starts with feeling good. Their ultra-comfy, supremely supportive sandals and slides align your body, adapt to your wardrobe and enhance every step. We helped them express their ethos in a brand identity that combines comfort with creativity.
Inspired by the creative duo behind the brand (@wearetherhoads), we leaned into creative pairings throughout the identity. For the brand tagline Feel Good Shoes, we combined comfort and health in an emotional, everyday way. For the logomark, we emphasized the double m’s in Commbi, echoing the shape of their modular footbed’s interior tread, and then created our submark from this motif. Commbi applied the motif pattern to the sole to make the bottom tread distinctive as well. Then we scaled the curves up and down to frame @commbiofficial gorgeous brand photography in fun shapes and dynamic compositions. And brought it to the shoebox flap in a memorable moment. For the color palette, we combined bright, vivid hues with earthy, grounded ones to evoke enhancing the everyday. In launch messaging, we played around with describing indescribable comfort, inspiring imaginations to feel the fit.
